Don't touch them.
I would be interested in the answer to this as well. My body chemistry seems to fade the gold plating on hardware.

Put a coat of laquer on them. Or brush them with CA. Ron |

Buy nickle and wear yellow tinted glasses 
Or you could wipe down with a SOFT cloth after each session, it's the acid man, you better off with them yellow glasses. Cheers Kim |
